Welcome to the Caboolture Lodge website, the lodge is situated in Caboolture, North Brisbane, Australia. Our lodge was formed in 1918 under the Scottish constitution with the Ritual of Scottish Craft Working which was revised in 1905.

Since 1922 we have worked under the warrant of the UGLQ (United Grand Lodge Of Queensland), maintaining our Scottish rituals and regalia.

To enable Caboolture Lodge to wear Traditional Scottish Dress at its meetings the Lodge has to obtain dispensation from the Most Worshipful Grand Master of the United Grand Lodge of Queensland every year.
We had the privilege of this permission continuous from 9th March 2005 until the 1st July 2009.
From 1st July 2009 until 3rd July 2010 we had this dispensation for special occasions.
On the 3rd July 2010 we had the privilege of obtaining dispensation for our members & visitors, if they so wish, to wear traditional Scottish dress for the next 12 months, until the 4th July 2011.

INSTALLATION 2009

Honoured by the Most Worshipful Grand Master for the first time in 49 years

Caboolture Lodge Installation

The September meeting of Caboolture Lodge was the Installation of Wor. Bro. Eddie FENNELL. This is the third time that Eddie has been placed into the Chair of King Solomon, twice at Temperance & Fernburgh Lodge No. 123 UGLQ and now at Caboolture Lodge and he is only 35 years of age.

Caboolture Lodge decided to invite the most Worshipful Grand Master to this Installation and to our pleasure he accepted the invitation along with his Grand team of Officers. We also had the pleasure of the Grand Masters wife who joined us at the Banquet. The Worshipful Master Officers and Brethren of Caboolture Lodge sincerely thank you both.

The Scottish Installation ceremony was skilfully conducted by Wor. Bro. Adam HUNT and his team of Installing Officers. This meeting was very well attended by members and visitors from various local lodges and from overseas lodges including South Africa, Scotland, Wales, UK. Who all enjoyed the meeting and the Banquet that followed with copious amounts of various brands of Single Malt Whiskey. The ODE to the Haggis was carried out in true Robbie Burns style by a Glaswegian R.W. Bro. John BONE.

Number of hits since 2nd April 2009.
