Welcome to the Caboolture Lodge website, the lodge is situated in Caboolture, North Brisbane, Australia. Our lodge was formed in 1918 under the Scottish constitution with the Ritual of Scottish Craft Working which was revised in 1905.

Since 1922 we have worked under the warrant of the UGLQ (United Grand Lodge Of Queensland), maintaining our Scottish rituals and regalia.

To enable Caboolture Lodge to wear Traditional Scottish Dress at its meetings the Lodge has to obtain dispensation from the Most Worshipful Grand Master of the United Grand Lodge of Queensland every year.
We had the privilege of this permission continuous from 9th March 2005 until the 1st July 2009.
From 1st July 2009 until 3rd July 2010 we had this dispensation for special occasions.
On the 3rd July 2010 we had the privilege of obtaining dispensation for our members & visitors, if they so wish, to wear traditional Scottish dress for the next 12 months, until the 4th July 2011.

PROCLAMATION 2011

The Worshipful Master Taking the Chair for the Second Year.

Caboolture Lodge Installation

The September meeting of Caboolture Lodge was the Proclamation of Wor. Bro. John Lowe. This ceremony was performed in the Scottish Ritual and it was completed within the hour.

The Installing Master was W. Bro. Eddie Fennell with his uncle W. Bro. Bob Fennell as Installing Director of Ceremonies and with their installing team they conducted an exemplary Scottish Proclamation ceremony, which was unusually well attended with brethren from all around the Brisbane area.

There followed a well stocked festive board in the anti-room which was very well attended and every square inch of the floor was taken. The guests were enjoying themselves so much that the party carried on until almost midnight. Needless to say there was an ample supply of single malt.

The ODE to the Haggis was carried out in true Robbie Burns style by W. Bro. Ewan McLeod with W. Bro. Rob Grogan accompanying him on the Bagpipes.

The Worshipful Master thanks all of the Caboolture brethren for their time, efforts and generousity that helped to make this another night to remember.

We are now organising a Christmas party night, which will include Santa Clause for the children and dance music for the Ladies.
